Several parts of this month’s book tie in well with the theme of the newsletter. Because integrity has multiple moving parts, I thought this particular book speaks to the key elements of integrity and then some. “Do Eagles Just Wing It?” by Susan Nielsen, Tracy Lundquist and Chip Scholz is set up as a well organized and easy to follow series of stories framed around the concept of Eagles which we most often associated with soaring to great heights.
The authors structured the book around stories told to four basic building blocks: Clarity, Focus, Attention and Intention. As the reader completes each of the three parts of the book, each set of building blocks help build an overall roadmap for the reader to write their own story. I especially enjoyed the Attention block in the first part of the book which spoke to Attitude. The discussion and the adjoining story resonated with me as someone who actively works with attitude every day. This is a great straightforward read for anyone who knows success comes through soaring, like eagles, with purpose.
Enjoy the Book!
